Each CATEGORY (of 4) in the FRAMEWORK can be distinguished from others by its UNIQUE COLOR shared by PAIRS OF COMPLEMENTARY ADAPTATION MODES (ex. Power/Dependence).

We observe, for each adaptation mode, a FLEXIBLE way to act ( middle of the circle) going to a RIGID way (at the end of the circle). This AMPLITUDE is represented in the diagram by COLOR SHADE (light to darker)

  • Adaptation Modes Examples :

  1. SELFLESSNESS: self-abnegation, sacrifie for others, self-omission.

  2. ABASEMENT: overcome, prostrated by embarrassment, very negative Self-Esteem.

  3. POWER: abuse, exploit, manipulate others for its own's benefice.
